Kirtan Workshop with Sangita

10th Dec | 5-6.30pm | $30

Discover your inner musical yogi with this practical kirtan workshop. Learn to play the harmonium and sing, all at the same time! Suitable for beginners who know nothing and others who want to improve and develop their skills.

Stay on for the Chanting, Chai & Kirtan night. Put your skills into action and sing your heart out.

Sangita is a music teacher who loves bringing together the joys of music and yoga. She sings like and angel, plays the guitar, ukele, harmonium and other things.

Come along and be uplifted by the joyous vibration of mantra.

Wondering what it's all about?

Join us for an uplifting evening of mantra, music and friendship.

Music and vibration have a powerful effect on our mood and mind.

The mantras create an uplifted, light state of being.

The evening starts in the kitchen/meeting room with yummy homemade chai and bliss balls as everyone chats and gets to know each other.

Then we move to the yoga room for chanting. We chant a traditional Vedic healing mantra, the Mahamrityunjaya mantra 108 times.

Then it's time for kirtan, which is singing/chanting accompanied by a harmonium or guitar or ukele or whatever the lead singer likes to use!
